IMPLANTS

Over the past 25 years, dental implants have become a popular and very effective way to replace missing teeth.  Implants are made of titanium and other elements that are completely compatible with the human body.  They are posts that are placed in the upper and lower jawbone to act as a sturdy anchor for your replacement tooth.  Due to their high long-term success rate and versatility, they have allowed dentists to provide better treatment options for patients.  While one of the most popular uses for an implant is to replace a single missing tooth, they can also be used to replace multiple missing teeth and can even act as anchors to help dentures and partials fit much more securely.

If you are interested in implants, we will be happy to discuss the process in more detail with you.  Some patients are better candidates for implants than others, as certain health conditions can reduce the chance for success.
